I didn’t expect my new book to take me where it did in my writing this morning. I need to find positivity in my life, to be more of a doer and less of a victim, and to stop pondering unanswerable ‘what-if’ questions. I hope that writing today has led me to that conclusion. But how do I make sense of twelve years of running a failing post office business? Ah, I find gratitude in the fact that I got out when I did and that we got recouped our investment, and in the fact that my mental health is recovering. What was it all for, though? I’m not sure yet.
